The Games Workshop or someone who went to the Games Workshop said that it needed a proper Warhammer game because it has 40,000 Diablo Warhammer games. And Warhammer: Chaos Bain was born!
Warhammer Chaosbane Game Overview
You can not compare this game with Diablo III by learning, upgrading and configuring the four classes you can choose from, the evil spell that summons the Chaos daemon, the top-down isometric projection, and various hack / slash skills. Of course, that's not bad at all. I enjoy this game style very much. Especially when you have your own twist in gameplay. It is rather unfortunate that Chaos Bain does not.
Players do not need to know about Warhammer Fantasy (Not Age of Sigmar) before they play. This is definitely a privilege. I know a few things about Warhammer Fantasy but apparently Warhammer is 40,000. In fact, I can easily claim that the player does not need to know anything about Warhammer. The game sets the stage for the player, tells the progress, and effectively explains everything.
Warhammer Fantasy fans (including Sigmar Age) have additional knowledge to make the plot points more meaningful, but new users are not confused. Experienced fans can know in advance who the Magnus King is, know immediately who Tethlis is and understand the dangers of Asabar Kool's army.
However, it is not a seasoned fan who knows that anyone who summons Chaos Daemon across the land is bad. Diablo III was virtually identical to many PlayStation players. They may not have played the previous booth on the PC, but it's not a genius to know that the Greater Evil summoning is pretty bad.
Other gamer's though
Chaosbane, like Diablo III, has athletes penetrating the realm of Chaos gods and yawns. The first is the denomination of Nurgle worshipers. Because I confess the most disgusting god first. I think my favorite line throughout this section was a shock to finding cults in the sewer. Nurgle is the place where we expect to see the cult. Weakness is an epidemic and a god of disease. Is there a better place for illness than a sewer in a big city? I did not think so.
One poor line emphasized Chaosbane's greatest flaw, the incredibly bad voice acting. I am originally referring to He-Man and She-Ra cartoon bad voice acting. By the second act, we had to reduce the volume of voice conversations. This is because it is no longer available. The battle is fast and furious as you would expect from this type of game. Character classes require different strategies. In particular, we must cope with large, large-scale ambushes mixed with chaos champions.
Human warriors and dwarven warriors can happen personally close to the enemy. They have a high defensive power and prefer to draw blood. The Wood Scout Scout and the Half-Elven Wizard need to fight away. A variety of techniques will help you separate from the skull.
The scrolls are often difficult to get in particularly robbery. I played mostly as a scout because she appealed to my demon hunter preferences, but if my children play with me they will definitely play Tanker characters.
Warhammer Chaosbane character
Each character has an active manual skill that the player can use to physically match his character's play style. Why, it's like Diablo! However, Chaosbane adds skill trees and skill point elements to make skill selection more complicated. When a character reaches a certain level, the skill is released, but to activate a character's skill, a certain number of skill points are required for each skill.
Thus, although a character may have an upgraded skill unlocked version at level 34, that does not mean that the character has enough skill points to add the upgraded skill to the character sheet. Activation and swapping skills seemed like constant bartering. I think you can get what you need by downgrading this other technology because you really need this technology.
Or do you have to remove manual techniques to add points? Characters can learn an active and passive Divine skill to add another complex layer to the tree of skills and techniques. At each level you acquire, the gods give a character a favor. Using points of merit, gold crown and engraving, players can unlock their stat and god skills through a completely separate skill tree.
If someone has played Final Fantasy X or Final Fantasy XIII, you may be familiar with the new skill tree. Sadly, technology trees are as complex as gameplay. Higher difficulties require complex strategies for implementing and using skills, but higher difficulties do not change the repetitive nature of the game.
I have never played a game that literally reuses the same environment and often maps it after playing Transformers: Devastation. The whole second act, I visited the streets of Praag or Forest. That was it. There are no additional rooms or caves to explore. We are playing exactly the same map each time. You cross Praag about 5 times, twice or three times in the forest.
Game features
When you complete the action, Boss Rush and Expeditions will open, but the expedition will need to play the same area and map repeatedly, expecting to receive various rewards through new events. This is the idea of providing side quests and side missions. Later, Relic Hunts is also unlocked, which is much more interesting, but the bar is already too low to make a difference.
In addition to trophy hunting, I can not think of one reason to play this game. This is from the person who got the platinum trophy for Diablo III on PlayStation 3. Now there is a movement that makes you bored. When a game takes Diablo's action RPG style, I do not expect it to be as good as Diablo, and I do not expect it to be exactly the same. I enjoy watching other developers make their own styles with style.
In addition to technical trees, Warhammer: Chaosbane has little to separate from Diablo and lacks depth. It could be a fantastic Diablo-lite if you put more into the environment, have real quests, or have variety. As it is now, it feels a little baked and rushed. Perhaps the upcoming DLC will improve, but it is too much to say that there is no more powerful product now.
