World End Syndrome Game Review for PS4

There are many romance visual novels on the market today, but the World End Syndrome game is definitely a bit special. This is not only because of the absolutely gorgeous visuals and exciting characters. Instead, coolly blend romantic storylines with delicious dark Japanese folk. This is one of the visual novels that is very difficult to put down once you start.

World End Syndrome Love Story

The main character is a transfer student who moved to a quiet Japanese coastal village. The city is one of those quirky places with legends and customs in many strange areas. One of the strangest things is the legend of Yomibito. Once every 100 years, the resurrected soul will return to the city and cause misery. Just to be clear by misfortune, we mean they will slaughter the people of the village. I can guess, but we are celebrating the 100th anniversary since the last event of Yomibito.

World End Syndrome

The local teacher wrote a fictional novel about the city and its undead folk. This novel has become very popular throughout the country. Even rumors that a film based on a novel would be filmed in the town and feature a famous idol. There are many things that happened in this sleepy town this summer, but the legend of Yomibito is a foolish story and it is actually impossible. Or is it possible.

Story of the Game

As with many visual novels, the story is a bit slow. In fact, the first four to five hours of the game is set to experience a bad ending. When things start to get really interesting, the game suddenly stops. At the end of the credit, you will be able to re-load your previous saves so you can make other choices and re-experience the summer months. The next time you play, you will experience a much more open game. Instead of being able to choose only occasional conversations, you have to decide where you spend each morning, afternoon and evening.

Different locations have different characters so you can find different parts of the story depending on where you can play. This game has a frenzied ending that you can replay and encourage others to make choices. Some paths do not open until you have affection for a particular character among other story roots. So there may be some trial and error to see all the endings.

World End Syndrome Characters

Good visual novels have great character and fortunately world end syndrome does not disappoint. When you first meet, you can easily guess that they will be pretty common bundles. You can get all the usual passions like a rich kid attached and a nasty best friend, but once you dig deeper, it's much more lovable and interesting than you first saw. Yuuki Kato, the chief artist of the BlazBlue series, designed the character and is all beautifully beautiful.

But actually stealing the show is a dynamic background. Most visual novels have a well-defined background, but they go a step further. You really have to take a moment to see the firefly kneeling against the beach or emptying the forest. It's really impressive how the world becomes so lively with the smallest movement in the background.

Gameplay

World End Syndrome game will help you in subsequent playstops. A previously visited location displays all the character icons in that location at a specific time. This is very handy when trying to get a certain character ending. You can also skip previously read text quickly. The first few conclusions that you are likely to experience will give you a considerable amount of knowledge about a particular person, but you will not really touch the mystery surrounding the town.

The game can be a little disappointing because it does a good job of telling you everything, but it will wait long before you can see it anymore. Enduring because the final character path and true ending are definitely worth it. World End Syndrome is a beautiful visual novel and professionally combines elements of romance and mystery to create a truly fascinating adventure game, it is very skilled at overcoming your expectations.
