So far I have never understood what it means to live with mental illness. Mental illness is a sensitive subject that has been attempted in various forms of media, such as books, movies, television, and even video games. But I would argue that not only did the characters or their stories portray this topic effectively and accurately, but also Ninja Theory, a video game developer, with the sacrifice of Hellblade: Senua.

The game tells the story of a young Celtic warrior named Senua, exploring a symbolic hell to save the soul of her lover, Dillion. But this journey is not easy. Due to her traumatic past, Senua must overcome her inner ghosts if she suffers from severe mental illness and wants to see her love again. Hellblade is classified as a horror genre, but it combines genres that combine horror, soul-like combat and story-driven exploration. Senua and her story take us to a much darker, human heart.
Battle throughout the game plays an important role for Senua. Strategic yet elegant. Like a chess game, each movement is important, and a decrease in concentration can be a checkup. Every time you die, corruption in Senua's arm will go upwards toward her brain. If corruption is too far away, all the progress that has been made will disappear. This concept was taught early and stuck to my toes for the whole story. The battle is not always that simple. In the boss fight I realized that I can not continue the fight unless I activate Senua's power of concentration.
With this moment, it became clear to me that fighting this terrible creature represents the inner battle Senua is facing. It is her attempt to overcome what she feared. But battle is not the only focus of the game. Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice has an incredible mystery solution system. Some doors and corridors require the rune to find something in the environment and move forward. During these puzzles I found what is in Senua's mind. On the other hand, I felt these puzzles ruined the driving force of the game.

Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice Gameplay
The narrative and battle have excited me and made me crave more, but I will suddenly stop in my orbit because I have to search for missing pieces before proceeding. Still, Hellblade has immersed the world in a wonderful sound design. Using 3D binaural sound, the game could make me feel like I was never alone. A few voices are almost always present. Sometimes I mistakenly criticize me, others will warn me of an attack from behind.
There are special moments in Hellblade where Senua must be tried in the dark. The only help you have is the voices and reflections of the creatures that are hiding nearby. The wrong direction and the step of the foot of the three young women will die. I have not felt this dark fear since I was 5 years old. But at that moment I was truly afraid.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild game is the most thoroughly polished experience I've ever had. Every aspect of this experience gave me a better challenge, and I learned a lot about how the brain improvises a solution to an abstract puzzle. I justified Breath of the Wild game as a "perfect" game because I had no complaints when I first started playing.
